The short answer

Complete beginners start with Noorani Qaida: the Arabic letters, their sounds and how they join, before moving on to reading the Qur'an with Tajweed. At Rahber, each beginner has a private teacher for 30–40 minutes, 2 or 5 days a week, on Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. Fees are £40 or £60 a month, and the first class is free.
