Short answer
To learn Quranic Arabic, first learn to read Arabic script fluently, then memorise the most frequent Quran words, then study basic grammar (nouns, verbs and particles). Around 300 frequent words make up a large share of the Quran's text, so vocabulary gives the quickest gains in understanding.

Begin with Al-Fatiha and the surahs you already read in salah. Understanding them makes prayer more meaningful straight away.

Most Arabic words come from three-letter roots. Learning the root ع-ل-م (knowledge) unlocks words like 'ilm, 'alim and ya'lamun.

Is Quranic Arabic different from modern Arabic?
